PET bottles with a dramatic color gradation from deep forest green to rich sapphire blue will receive a WorldStar 2000 Award from the World Packaging Organization, Herndon, Va., at its national convention in Toronto in May. This novel decorative effect is achieved by spraying a proprietary yellow lacquer onto a translucent blue bottle. The bottle is used to package the Noevir 505 Skincare Series of lotions and creams from Noevir Co., Ltd. of Tokyo.
