A. Schulman to Acquire Network Polymers
Acquisition expected to be completed in the next few months.
Two Akron polymer compounding and distribution companies may soon be coming together. A. Schulman Inc. recently agreed in principle to acquire Network Polymers Inc. Schulman’s main product lines consist of proprietary and custom-formulated engineered plastic compounds and color and additive concentrates. Network Polymers offers a broad spectrum of custom resins and alloys. It is also the exclusive producer of the Centrex ASA family and the Diamond Polymer brand of ABS, ABS/PC, ASA, and ASA/PC. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the next few months.
