Absolute Haitian Hires New Southeast Regional Sales Manager
Sherman McGinnis will manage and facilitate Haitian and Zhafir injection molding machine sales for Absolute Haitian, and Well-Lih robot sales for Absolute Robot for the southeastern states.
Absolute Haitian Corp., Worcester, Mass., the exclusive distributor of Haitian and Zhafir injection molding machines in the U.S. and Canada, has expanded its sales management team with the addition of Sherman McGinnis as Southeast Regional Sales Manager.
A 27-year veteran of the injection molding industry, McGinnis will manage and facilitate Haitian and Zhafir injection molding machine sales for Absolute Haitian, and Well-Lih robot sales for Absolute Robot, in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Maryland and Delaware. In addition to supporting the company’s existing sales representation and customers in the region, McGinnis will be the point person for key account expansion in the southeast with major multi-national companies in the packaging, personal care and medical device markets.
McGinnis’ experience includes production management, project management, mold building and mold purchasing at custom injection molders (Moll Industries and other custom molders), and sales experience at an injection molding machinery company and a European mold-making company (Boucherie). He was a key member of a team that researched and launched one of the first high-volume production lines of multi-shot, high-volume molding of dental hygiene products for the toothbrush industry. He is also experienced in high-volume production for the cosmetics packaging market for suppliers to companies such as Maybelline and LOREAL.
McGinnis lives in Morristown, TN, near Knoxville, with his wife and four children.
