Angle pin Z016/..., a practical solution for slide operation

The new, ready-to-install Z016/... angle pin for the movement of slide units is complete with a conical head angled of 18°. This time and money saving idea allows the toolmaker to use the pin directly in the mould without the need of modification. HASCO, the well-known German manufacturer of standard mould units, has thus come up with another addition to its range of slide element products that offer the toolmaker reliable and efficient standards. Prefabricated sliders, guide strips and associated heel elements Z1810 with included angle pin location minimise the amount of machining and coordination work on the mould plates. For highly detailed undercuts, complete, ready-to-slide units are available.Back at the design stage, the mould designer can simply make use of these parts, which are available as 3D data, and thereby significantly lower the time needed for the designing process. Because the elements can be assembled from the mould parting surface, they ensure quick replacement and thus reduce production downtimes. Consequently, both toolmakers and moulders benefit equally from the advantages of the standardised HASCO solutions.
