Bluestar Silicones Opens New U.S. Manufacturing/R&D Center

WEB EXCLUSIVE: Bluestar Silicones, a Chinese-owned, global integrated silicones supplier with U.S. headquarters in East Brunswick, N.J., will open a new manufacturing and R&D center in York, S.C., this June.

 

WEB EXCLUSIVE: Bluestar Silicones, a Chinese-owned, global integrated silicones supplier with U.S. headquarters in East Brunswick, N.J., will open a new manufacturing and R&D center in York, S.C., this month. Bluestar relocated its two U.S. manufacturing facilities in Ventura, Calif., and Rock Hill, S.C., to a 226,000-ft2 building at the new York site. It will also become the company’s central R&D center in North America. Bluestar will manufacture its extensive range of silicones at York, including LSR, HCR, and RTV elastomers, as well as fluids, release coatings, and antifoams.
