DuPont Co., Wilmington, Del., intends to separate its Performance Chemicals segment into a completely separate company about 15 months from now.
DuPont Co., Wilmington, Del., intends to separate its Performance Chemicals segment into a completely separate company about 15 months from now. Performance Chemicals includes DuPont’s Titanium Technologies and Chemicals and Fluoroproducts businesses. Key products of interest to plastics processors from those businesses are titanium dioxide pigments and Teflon and Tefzel fluoropolymers. Other DuPont plastics are not affected.
