At NPE2015, officials at Eastman Chemical, Kingsport, Tenn., discussed the completion of a 35-million-lb/yr capacity addition for its Tritan copolymers in late 2014. They also revealed that a second Tritan plant is now in the planning stage. It would have a 130 million lb/yr capacity and also be located in Kingsport.
