New Source for Automatic Pipe Coilers—May 2007

Computer-controlled coilers from Mecasoft in France for small-diameter corrugated and solid-wall tubing are now being built under license by Adescor Inc., Exeter, Ont. This is the fi rst automatic coiler from Adescor, which makes downstream equipment for corrugated pipe. It's also the fi rst time that Mecasoft's specialized coilers have been available here with North American components. The coiler winds solid-wall pipe from 12 to 75 mm OD and corrugated pipe from 40 to 200 mm OD with single and double reels and automatic cutting, feeding, and strapping.
