New Electric Machine Is LSR-Ready—March 2008

A new all-electric injection machine designed for liquid silicone rubber was introduced last month by Sumitomo (SHI) Plastics Machinery (America) LLC, Norcross, Ga. The SE75DU model is a U.S.built, 83-ton press. Sumitomo says the direct-drive servo motors achieve extremely precise shot control with the low-viscosity material.
