All-Electric Presses With Rotary Tables—September 2008

A new all-electric toggle press for two-color or two-material applications, as well as a vertical electric press with a horizontal injection unit, will be unveiled at the IPF show by Toyo Machinery & Metal Co. Ltd., represented here by Maruka USA Inc., Rockaway, N.J. The horizontal Plastar Si-230III RW 250-ton model has two injection units and an electrically driven rotary table that turns 180° in 1 sec. Toyo’s new 80-ton Plastar ET80HR4 vertical electric press also has a rotary table. At the show, it will produce biodegradable eating utensils and containers from four molds.
