Brookfield Engineering, Middleboro, Mass., is offering its most popular viscometer for liquid measurement in an “extra value” version that includes several optional accessories as standard. The new DV-II+Pro Extra is the DV-II+Pro with added ball-bearing suspension system, which provides extended durability to instruments that experience very heavy use, multiple operators, or dusty and dirty work environments. Also added are the formerly optional EZ-Lock spindle coupling for quick spindle attachment/detachment and Quick Action lab stand that allows users to move the unit up and down with the press of a button to permit faster sample changes. And for a limited time, as part of Brookfield’s 75th anniversary celebration, Rheocalc software is also free with the instrument.
