X Dryer is a dehumidifying system that guarantees superior flexibility. The only two parameters that need to be set by the user are hourly throughput and material to treat. The dryer automatically manages and controls a series of variable data, observing the specific characteristics of every single polymer. In other words, X Dryer adjusts to the requests of the moulding machine because it can control all process variables: residence time, process temperature, airflow capacity, antistress mechanism. This new system, based on the zeolite technology, operates without compressed air and cooling water. The X Dryer system is available in six different sizes in the XD 20 series (XD 21 to XD 26) with an airflow from 25 to 350 m3/h relative to the residence time of the specific polymer and achieves a constant dew point of -75°C.
The base concept is that the machine does not waste energy when it is not necessary, but it uses only the energy necessary for the correct treatment of the material and relative to the set throughput. The variable airflow, the constant performances, the high dew point, the no use of cooling water and compressed air, help to reach a really high energy saving.
