PMTS and the PMPA are offering a PMTS 2013 Student Day on Thursday, April 18th from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hosted by NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills), Student Day is an opportunity for young people interested in STEM-related careers to get a better understanding of the precision machining industry.

Students will be given a brief overview of the precision machining industry and learn what makes a career in manufacturing both exciting and lucrative. From there, a tour of the show floor will be given by industry experts, highlighting specific processes and technologies.

Attendance is free, but space is limited. To register, please contact Catherine Ross at 703-352-4971.

Comments are reviewed by moderators before they appear to ensure they meet Plastic Technology’s submission guidelines.
