Dehumidifying drying is utilized to minimize or eliminate any problems that can be caused by too much or too little moisture in a plastic material during its processing. The extent to which moisture affects the quality of a molded part or extrusion has a lot to do with the specific plastic being used and with the intended purpose of the part.
