Oven Dryers

The oven dryer is probably the simplest method used for drying resin. Resin is spread out evenly on a tray and ‘cooked’ in an industrial oven, in an effort to remove surface moisture. This method is very labor intensive and ignores having sufficient airflow through the resin - one of the basic requirements for effective moisture removal.

It is not practical for production facilities to dry resin in this manner.
