Following comprehensive audits at the ACS Australia head office in Port Melbourne, Victoria, and its operations in New South Wales and Queensland, the company's entire quality management system has been certified.

Upon completion of an independent evaluation of its quality management system, Advanced Composite Structures Australia (ACS Australia, Port Melbourne, Victoria) announced Friday, Aug. 23,  that it has successfully achieved ISO 9001 certification.

The comprehensive system audits covered every aspect of operations at the ACS Australia head office in Port Melbourne, Victoria, as well as operations in Prestons, New South Wales and Eagle Farm, Queensland; ensuring all company sites are included in the certification.

"Achieving ISO 9001 certification is demanding," said Murray Scott, managing director of ACS Australia. "Each staff member and the processes they use must comply with the quality management system. By scrutinizing our operations in the certification process, we assure our customers that we are committed to providing them with superior customer service."

This certification, says ACS Australia, "guarantees to its customers" that the company has a "professional and systematic approach to delivering research, development, engineering design, manufacturing and testing services in the technology field of composite materials and structures."

ACS Australia provides engineering services and technical expertise to companies looking for a competitive advantage in a variety of markets, including aerospace, automotive, renewable energy, oil and gas, mining and civil infrastructure.
