DMG Mori’s Innovation Days 2014 will feature machining demonstrations, seminars and one-on-one application consultations. Taking place May 6-9 at the company’s Chicago, Ill., headquarters, the open house will feature 38 machine demonstrations including four U.S. premieres: the NLX 3000Y/1250 and NLX 4000BY/1500 universal turning machines, the fourth-generation DMU 80 P duoBlock five-axis machining center, and the compact CTX 450 ecoline universal turning machine. The company will also demonstrate its hybrid machines, which combine laser metal deposition with turn-mill capabilities, as well as the CELOS control platform. Presentations on gear milling technology and other topics will be provided.
