A new permanent pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive is said to suit applications where temperatures are too high for a regular solvent acrylic adhesive but too low for a silicone adhesive. V-483 adhesive from Flexcon, Spencer, Mass., is designed to produce a strong bond to a wide range of surfaces, including metals and low-surfaceenergy plastics, and to offer a cost-competitive adhesive for high-temperature applications. According to Flexcon, this adhesive is ideal for harsh environments with varying temperatures, such as electrical boxes and automotive or aerospace components. (508) 885-8440 • www.flexcon.com
