WEB EXCLUSIVE Penn Color, Doylestown, Pa., recently came out with two new amber color concentrates for PET pharmaceutical bottles. Pennacle 66N1742 is described as a cost-effective alternative to amber precolored resin. Pennacle 66N1744 is said to provide the lowest possible light transmission for maximum protection of pharmaceutical contents. It is said to block more light than dye-based colorants, allowing less than 3% transmission from 290 to 450 nm and less than 6% from 450 to 520 nm. (215) 345-6550 * www.penncolor.com
