A new antifog masterbatch for LDPE blown film used to package refrigerated produce is said to work more quickly than previous products in coextruded and monolayer films. Launched by Polyvel, Inc., Hammonton, N.J., VF152 concentrate is FDA-approved for food contact and contains 20% active ingredient in an LDPE carrier. It typically requires 3% to 4% letdown, which is said to make it very cost-effective. Robert Axelrod, v.p. of sales & marketing says the product "works immediately," providing a clear view of the package contents. Tel: (609) 567-0080 . www.polyvel.com
