Two new lines of color concentrates tailored specifically for wood/plastic composites and for recycled thermoplastics are newly available from Hudson Color Concentrates, Leominster, Mass. First, EverWoods colorants for wood composites come in six standard wood tones or can be custom matched. They can be used in PET, PVC, PP, PS, and ABS. They are said to provide dimensional stability and reduced warping, plus long-term durability with no fading or staining. Second, EverLast color concentrates are formulated for use with reprocessed post-industrial scrap and post-consumer PET, PVC, PP, PS, and HDPE. They come in 10 standard colors ranging from popular wood tones to tropical-colored hues, or can be custom matched.
