A new cooling conveyor system from Dynamic Conveyor, Muskegon, Mich., consists of a portable spot air-cooling blower teamed with a DynaCon modular conveyor. Creating instant cool air up to 25º F below room temperature, the unit removes up to 60,000 BTU/hr, has digital temperature control, and costs as little as

10¢/hr to operate. It is self-contained and portable; simply roll it in, plug it in, and

turn it on. The system uses clear plastic to cover the conveyor and maximize airflow

over the parts. DynaCon says that combining part conveying and cooling results in a

94.7% reduction in cool-down time.
