A new range of biobased functional polymer additives and processing aids for the masterbatch and polyolefin food packaging business and other uses are being showcased by Palsgaard (U.S. office in Morris Plains, N.J.).
The Einar product range is produced entirely from vegetable oils such as sustainably sources palm oils. Included are antistatic and antifogging agents that have been shown to deliver outstanding performance. In addition, there are two newly developed dispersing aids for masterbatch production—Einar 101 and 102, for use in distributing color pigments in plastics and for which independent tests have demonstrated superior performance when measured against industry-standard waxes. The result: increased color strength and yield and less use of expensive color pigments.
