A new line of ester compounds for plasticizing PVC toys, medical devices, and flooring are plant-derived and biodegradable. They come from CPH Innovations, the R&D affiliate of C.P. Hall Co., Chicago. New Hallgreen additives reportedly perform as well as plasticizers derived from petroleum.
