Right now, models of 55, 85, and 110 metric tons are available, and sizes up through 450 metric tons will be introduced during the course of the year. The new line will eventually replace JSW’s ELIII series and has controls with response times as short as 62 millisec vs. 250 millisec for the ELIII. The controller also has a new 15-in. touchscreen.

Injection rate up to 350 mm/sec is standard and up to 550 mm/sec is optional. The new design allows the five-point double toggle to accommodate larger molds while at the same time reducing platen deflection. Clamp and ejector knock-out speeds also have been increased.
