A new, three-lesson course on “Mastering Electric Molding Machines” will be

available by July 30 from Paulson Training Programs, Inc., Chester, Conn. The

course discusses the design and operation of all-electric machines, how the controls

work, and how to optimize machine settings. The course, available on CDROM

(a web-based version will come this fall), is designed to integrate seamlessly with Paulson’s 15-lesson “Practical Injection Molding” (PIM) course. The electric machine course alone costs $3500 ($2599 for owners of the PIM course until July

30.) For a limited time, purchasers of the full PIM course will receive the electric

machine training at no extra charge. After that, the bundled price is $5500.
