Two new fast-curing epoxy adhesives have been introduced by Master Bond Inc., Hackensack, N.J. Supreme 65HT-6 is described as a “breakthrough” snap-cure epoxy that cures in 3 to 5 min at ambient temperature. The two-component formulation produces very strong bonds with tensile lap-shear strength above 3000 psi for service from below -80 F to over 400 F. It also boasts superior resistance to thermal shock and cycling, vibration, and stress fatigue cracking. A dispensing gun capable of mixing fast-setting materials is also available (photo). Master Bond’s new EP44 two-component adhesive sets or gels in 3 min at ambient temperature and cures in a few hours at ambient temperature to develop high bond shear strength of more than 3150 psi. Bonded parts can be handled within a half-hour. (201) 343-8983 • www.master bond.com
