A brominated flame-retardant concentrate is designed for industrial bags, foam packaging, and other products that need good heat-sealability and printability. Developed by Techmer PM, Clinton, Tenn., PM13800 FR concentrate reportedly is non-blooming and has high heat stability that allows it to be run at the thinnest gauges. It has been used in LLDPE, LDPE, and HDPE films, extruded LDPE foams, injection and blow molded parts, thermoformable sheet, and extrusion coatings. Techmer’s own testing shows that PM13800 meets UL 94V-0, CPAI-84 6 and 7, NFPA 701, ASTM D-2863, and MVSS 302. It comes in white PE pellets, with a recommended maximum processing temperature of 610 F. (865) 457-6700 • www.techmerpm.com
