Developed by Albemarle Corp., Baton Rouge, La., Antiblaze 117HF is a non-halogenated phosphorus-based flame retardant that boasts high efficiency, allowing it to provide the same protection at up lower loadings than existing flame retardants. It also boasts excellent non-scorching performance. According to the company, the human health and environmental profile of 117HF flame retardant has been tested extensively.
