At NPE2015 in Orlando this month, the news from Advantage Engineering Inc., Greenwood, Ind., will be the Temptender controller with color touchscreen for its Sentra fluid circulating temperature-control units (TCUs). This replaces the HE control used on Sentra units since 1996 and can be retrofitted without wiring changes.
Features include digital flow-rate display, percent heating/cooling readout, a mold purge selector, shutdown pump-seal cooling circuit, user-adjustable startup venting sequence, second setpoint capability, and interactive troubleshooting.
Advantage will also introduce a new central chiller control with color touchscreen and more robust diagnostic tools.
