A new generation of high-speed traversing robots will be introduced at the IPF show by the Japanese parent of Yushin America Inc., Cranston, R.I. Yushin’s RC series, introduced more than a year ago as a replacement for the high-performance RA series, is undergoing changes designed to cut take-out times by 10% to 15%, reduce system start-up times up to 25%, shrink maintenance time up to 33%, use less power and compressed air, and carry lighter end-of-arm-tooling.
