Plastic Engineering & Technical Services, Inc. (P.E.T.S.), Auburn Hills, Mich., has introduced the PHRS family of hot-runner temperature controllers, said to “provide outstanding performance at price levels far below any competitive offerings.” These PID-controlled instruments come in a family of discrete units packaged in two to 18 zones for prices from $575 to $5200. The PHRS-GU enclosed versions with graphical user interface can be set up and controlled remotely via LAN network with an internet connection. The GU versions range from 12 to 96 zones at prices from$5800 to $22,600. All models come with 20-ft cables included.
