It also achieves UL 94V-0 without flame-retardant additives. Non-halogen Vectra V143LC from Ticona Engineering Polymers, Florence, Ky., withstands lead-free soldering temperatures and is recommended as a drop-in replacement for high-temperature FR nylons that contain additives that can cause equipment corrosion and possibly degrade material properties or product surface quality.
