WEB EXCLUSIVE: Rhodia Polyamide, Cranbury, N.J., is introducing what it says are the first nylon 6 powders for selective laser sintering (SLS). In coming months, Rhodia plans to add nylon 66 powders for SLS rapid prototyping and direct manufacturing. Other available SLS materials are nylon 11 and 12, PP, PS, and PEEK from sources such as 3D Systems Corp., Rock Hill, S.C., and EOS of North America Inc., Novi, Mich.
