The latest addition to the Lexan PC film portfolio from Houston-based SABIC, is said to be virtually unbreakable, making it an excellent candidate for flat touchscreens of smartphones and tablets as well as lenses for portable electronics, overlays and keypads.
Lexan OQ8DA are lightweight, low-warpage dual- or single- hard coated films. They reportedly offer 4H pencil hardness, to provide excellent resistance to scratching, marring and abrasions. They are said to be excellent candidates for die cutting, printing and metallization. They are also touted for their excellent chemical resistance and more than 90% light transmission.
