The Rockwell 500 Series from Wilson Instruments, an Instron company, in Norwood, Mass., provides dial selection of load weights and pushbutton scale selection. A microprocessor controls dwell and recovery times. The R504 analog model for use on the plant floor has a precision-calibrated force system for reliable and consistent testing and a color-coded display for fast, accurate reading of test results. The 500 Series is available in six models priced from $3500 to $10,000.
