New formable multilayer TPO-based sheet from Premier Material Concepts (PMC), Findlay, Ohio, is claimed to be a cost-effective alternative to vinyl-wrapped ABS for marine interior panels and consoles, office furniture, seating, and exercise equipment. Exultra eliminates secondary processes and allow manufacturers to reclaim fall-off during the thermoforming process. Exultra 3000 is a three-layer material consisting of a weatherable TPO cap, an olefinic elastomer foam middle layer, and a high-impact TPO core. Exultra 2000 is a two-layer product with a weatherable TPO cap laminated to a high-impact TPO. Both products reportedly have better impact strength than ABS and are moisture, scratch, and mar resistant. Various thicknesses and widths up to 72 in. are available. (419) 425-8974 • www.buypmc.com
