INJECTION MOLDING: New Modular Presses Debut

The new F-Series from Ferromatik Milacron (U.S. office in Batavia, Ohio) began shipping in May with its first three models—80, 160, and 350 metric tons. Announced at the K 2010 show in Germany last fall, this fully modular line is intended to gradually replace all other Ferromatik lines. The F-Series offers a mix-and-match choice of electric or hydraulic drive for clamping, injection, plastication, ejectrion, and carriage movement. The full line will span 50 to 650 m.t.
