Universal Dynamics, Inc., Woodbridge, Va., has added two new lines of auxiliaries to supplement its drying and materials-handling products. The first is the AutoGrind family of low-cost granulators from China. Thirteen low-speed, beside-the-press models have top entry for robotic feeding and cutting chambers from 5.5 x 6 in. to 16.5 x 8 in. Ten standard high-speed models for central or beside-the-press use have manual front feeding and 9 x 10 in. to 15 x 36 in. cutting chambers. Both series have hardened cutting chambers, soundproof tilt-back hoppers, staggered rotor knives, and drop-down screen cradles with reversible screens. High-speed models are described as “the quietest grinders on the market.” They have a high-amp alarm, cassette-type knives, and a swing-away blower and cyclone with stainless-steel tubing.
Also new is UnaDyn’s family of H2O Engineered Water Systems. They include water and oil temperature controllers, chillers, cooling towers, filtration and water-treatment systems, all built by another U.S. supplier.
