A new strain-gauge signal conditioner that provides users with a simple machine interface comes from RJG Inc., Traverse City, Mich. Its 4015 unit converts an output signal from any standard analog strain gauge cavity-pressure sensor into a 0-10 V output signal that can be used for process monitoring and control. The mold-pressure signal is auto-zeroed before the start of each injection cycle to maximize process repeatability. The signal conditioner is packaged in a compact, rugged metal case with a sturdy mounting plate. Each unit ships with an interface cable. Tel: (231) 947-3111 • www.rjginc.com
