A six-roll stack custom-built late last year by Taylor’s HPM in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, is believed to be uniquely capable of handling sheet thicknesses from 0.020 to 1.50 in. It uses all six rolls to run thin sheet (below 0.300 in.) but only three rolls with a bypass to run thick sheet. The chrome rolls all have automatic planetary transmissions designed for line speeds from 60 ft/min for thin sheet to 0.5 ft/min for thick sheet. Motorized nip gap allows changes under full load (2500 lb/in.). Output ranges from 1500 lb/hr of thin HDPE or PP sheet to 3000 lb/hr of thick sheet. (419) 946-0222 • www.hpmamerica.com
