Two ‘next-generation’ spherical spectrophotomers will be unveiled by X-Rite Pantone, Grand Rapids, Mich., at NPE2015. Ci78000 and Ci7600 have been designed to provide accurate measurement of color across the entire supply chain from design through final product ensuring that color specification and tolerances are met.
Key features of these two instruments that can help the plastics, automotive, textiles and paint/coating industries “get color right”, says X-Rite, include:
• Advanced auditing capabilities with an on-board camera that captures images of each measurement, providing a detailed audit trail of the settings at the time of measurement.
• Automated instrument set-up with pre-loaded customer settings for measurement consistency.
• Measurement flexibility with up to five apertures and three automated UV filters for measurements across opaque, transparent and translucent materials.
• Migration of legacy colors so that legacy data remains valid and ensures the device fits into existing environments regardless of data format.
