A new UV laser wire and cable marking machine is said to be particularly suited to aerospace, automotive, and electronics parts. Ulys 900 Modena is the newest such unit from France’s Laselec Inc. (U.S. office in Arlington, Texas). It boasts a wider marking zone and higher frequency marking—more than twice the usual frequency in the new “Boost” mode. It has a more compact design and four printing fonts as standard, with two horizontal and two vertical orientations. It allows for up to 128 characters per identification mark, as well as barcode 39 printing capability. (817) 460-7830 • www.laselec.com
