A high-speed, multicolor UV screen printer for graphics has been enhanced for use on a variety of flat substrates from plastics to glass. American M&M’s Hercules, available from the A.W.T. World Trade Group, Chicago, now includes features such as a larger print size, faster production rates, and instant worldwide support. The carousel-style Hercules reportedly can print up to eight colors on such plastics as PVC and corrugated PP sheet up to 0.25 in. thick at up to 600 pieces/hr. The Hercules features remote diagnostics—reportedly an industry-first—which reportedly can cut downtime by as much as 80%. Hercules comes with curing stations between each print head. Users reportedly can run their entire print cycle without any need to handle the substrate, delivering a finished product ready for packing and shipping. Upgrades include brushless AC motors with inverter-control systems on each head, and choice of electro-mechanical or servo-drive indexer. (773) 777-7100 • www.awt-gpi.com
