Nearly 240 industry professionals came out to New Orleans for Molding 2016, with representatives from all segments of the supply chain.
Riverdale Global, a platinum sponsor of Molding 2016, greeted attendees as they entered the exhibit space, featuring more than 20 booths.
Right on the banks of the Mississippi River, Molding’s venue, the Westin Canal Place, afforded views of the river from its north-facing windows, with Algiers Point, the French Market, and a loaded barge visible here.
To accommodate the 50-plus presentations, Molding 2016 offered two tracks at different times; pictured here the keynote session space the day before the event.
On the evening prior to the event and after the first day’s presentations, Molding offered a networking reception for attendees, speakers and exhibitors.
Molding 2016 Co-Chair and Plastics Technology Executive Editor Matt Naitove kicked off the event on March 29.
Milacron Chief Technology Officer Bruce Catoen was among the speakers during the opening session’s Emerging Technology track (read more about his presentation and others in the upcoming May issue of Plastics Technology).
A large crowd fills the general session of the second day of the conference.
Stay tuned for more details on Molding 2017: tentative plans are for a larger space in Charlotte, N.C. and another spring-time date.
