Multiple-screw Extruders

Ideal for production of polymers to enhance physical, electrical, mechanical, optical, and chemical properties, and the common applications include: mineral filled, glass reinforced, filler masterbatch, polymer alloys, flame retardant, liquid modified, devolatized and degassed. Key features include easy-access vacuum venting system that reduces cleaning and maintenance time. Screw elements finish include stainless steel, Dura-Nickel, nitride hardening, CPM10V, chrome or plasma coating, they provide greater temperature specificity due to divided heating and cooling zones in the barrel, excessive pressure build up prevented with rupture disc support, screws are self-cleaning due to co-rotating, intermeshing, parallel arrangement.
