We improve service life and performance of plasticizing equipment components through application focused engineered thermal sprayed surfaces. We engineer surface coatings for feedscrews, mixing rotors and tip assemblies to withstand higher levels of abrasion, adhesion and corrosion to maximize production and enhance your bottom line. Our industry experience has afforded us the opportunity to service more than 20,000 parts.
Provides tungsten carbide coating of injection molding or extrusion feedscrews. The coatings are hard, dense, crack free with very low porosity. A coating will protect against abrasive wear, adhesive wear and offers high corrosion resistance. This same technology is available for continuous mixing rotors, rolls of all sizes and single or twin feedscrews to 750 mm diameter and 25 feet in length. Can apply this same hard coating to injection molding non-return valves, which will provide 3 to 5 times longer service life. We offer 10 day turnaround or less from our facility in Florida. We also provide the same service in Asia though our facility in Mumbai, India.
Coating addresses environmental concerns with chrome plating and the need for better protection against wear and corrosion.
Molding parts of CPVC require Hayward Industries to re-coat its screws every 12 months. Now, thanks to a unique screw coating, it’s at eight years and counting.
Extrusion processors need more—of everything—to compete. And suppliers responded in force in Orlando.
As in speed, power, quality, flexibility, layers, and efficiency. Those are the trends across all extrusion processes.
