• Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) Equipment

  High- and low-pressure RTM metering/mixing equipment and clamps, RIM and large LD-SRIM systems.

  High-pressure RTM series has hydraulic cylinders with component metering capacities from 500 to 20,000 cc each, typically paired in a 4:1 or greater size ratio. Process controls for all machine functions, with optional full computer interface and SPC package. High-pressure impingement mixhead has external recirculation. Can be modified for high-temperature applications to 400 F.

  Quantum Flow is an entry-level RTM machine with reportedly excellent metering capability, ratio control, and flexibility. Provides continuous material flow with accurate hydraulic metering at ratios from 100:1 to 1:1. Handles most fillers, including chopped fiberglass.

  Dura Flow cylinder-type RTM machine processes polyesters, vinyl esters, epoxies, and urethanes. Large-volume resin cylinder is mechanically linked to low-volume catalyst cylinder. Quick-change linkage varies ratio in four discrete increments from 20:1 to 200:1. All-pneumatic operation, material recirculation, special cylinder design with equal flow in both directions, and large free-flow material path.

  Tech Flow top-of-the-line RTM machine with PLC or computer controls and complete SPC capability features full closed-loop ratio and output control, temperature control system, injection by constant pressure or flow rate, and Windows-based interface. Customized to meet production or laboratory needs.

  RIM equipment includes cylinder and pump metering machines, bulk-storage systems, mold clamps and complete production lines. Eco-RIM features a high-pressure impingement mixing head, variable frequency pump drives, high-precision high-pressure chemical metering pumps, jacketed tanks and an optional temperature control unit.  Sure Shot two-component cylinder-metering system has solvent-free operation, patented seal-access area, programmable controller, jacketed day tanks, hydraulic power system and temperature-control unit. It fits a variety of shot-type applications with outputs from 10 to 200 lb/min. Can accept fillers. Specialty equipment includes both pump and cylinder machines that offer low-flow-rate for laboratory use with various options such as closed-loop accuracy and integrated computer controls for statistical data reporting. Ultra Flow series metering machines feature Rexroth-type metering machine; and rugged, cost-effective Tech Clamp series of self-contained, hydraulic RIM mold clamps. Elastomer processing equipment for process temps to 280F low pressure electric/hydraulic mixers.
