  Sprue-picking robots for high-speed automatic part and runner removal with a dry cycle part removal of 0.7 sec for injection molding. Dual control valves provide high-speed take-out and slower controlled motion outside the mold, which extend the life or the picker and allows more accurate part and runner placement. Direction of the picker drop-off is easily changed from operator to non-operator sides, which increases flexibility to maximize use of limited floor space. Automatic safety lock pin prevents the picker arm from dropping if air supply pressure is lost.

  High-quality, heavy-duty aluminum body is lightweight and rigid. Imprinted channel aluminum extrusion frame ensures smooth and accurate operation. Picker body, cylinders and bearings need no lubrication. Shock absorbers at stroke end of every picker movement ensure high speed and stable operation. Integral verification system in the gripper confirms the presence of a runner with each cycle of the molding machine. Quick-release handle is located on the base body, allowing the picker to pivot 90° out of the way for mold changes. Picker pivots back to a positive position and quickly locks in place ready for operation.

  Easy-to-use controls have digital set timers for precise timing of picker motion and retain up to 99 mold setups in memory. Palm Pendant LED controller allows for safer adjustments and control away from picker motion and permits final adjustments and set points during automatic operation.
