Ultrasonic assembly equipment for welding, staking, riveting and inserting. SureWeld bonding systems include conventional 20 kHz units with power levels from 1000 to 3000 w; 35 kHz units from 400 w to 900 w for smaller assemblies; and a 70-kHz, 90-w unit for miniature plastic components.
Sureweld 20 and 35 feature rectangular support columns to eliminate deflection, a built-in leveling plate, and a T slot and toe clamps to secure the workpiece, allowing for increased control and repeatable accuracy.
Power supplies for the welders can be attached, mounted separately, or integrated within the unit. Equipment can accommodate multiple welding nests and is available in handheld models as well as modules for easy integration into production lines.
For cutting and sealing thin plastic films and fabrics, company offers SeamMaster line of ultrasonic "sewing" machines, slitters and a handheld cutter.
You know how to set a timer, but newer ultrasonic welders also offer control by energy, collapse distance, and absolute distance. Do you know when and how to exploit these options to make better welds?
